Dua Circle ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using the Dua Circle mobile application and website.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, profile bio, and optional profile photo.
- User content: dua requests, comments, categories, optional location, and anonymous post preference.
- Activity data: Ameens given, saved duas, requests posted, and journey statistics.
- Device and app data: basic technical data required for app functionality, theme preference, and connectivity status.
How we use information
- Provide authentication, feed, comments, saved duas, and profile features.
- Display community content and personalize your experience.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
- Respond to support requests and account deletion requests.
How information is shared
Dua requests and comments you post may be visible to other users according to your post settings. We use trusted service providers to operate the app:
- Firebase (Google) for authentication and database storage.
- ImageKit for profile photo hosting.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, posts, and comments associated with your account, subject to reasonable backup and legal retention requirements.
Your choices
- Update your profile information in the app.
- Post anonymously when sharing dua requests.
- Delete your account from Profile → Delete Account in the app.
- Submit a deletion request at Delete Account.
Children
Dua Circle is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards through our infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
